CeYA Young Adults"Lead a life worthy of the calling to
which you have been called..." -Ephesians 4:1
Overview of the Young Adult Ministry
These days young adults are restless for faith, for community, for guidance, for God. They are the most transient group in our churches. As they deal with college and graduate school, navigate their way through new careers, and possibly start families, young adults are increasingly seeking ways to reconnect both with their peers and with God. One of our ministries designed to serve the members of this group, just as they are, is the newly-named CeYA or Cincinnati episcopal Young Adults group. Its purpose is to provide a faith-based network of young adults in the Cincinnati area regardless of home parish or denomination (hence the lowercase e in episcopal). CeYA intends not to replace existing local young adult ministries, but to supplement what is available through coordinated communication and contribute additional offerings as needed. The current focus of CeYA is on fellowship and education gatherings
with occasional events that are geared toward service and outreach.
Educational programs typically center around a discussion. Social events
have included an Olympics party, a nighttime visit to a corn maze, pool
parties during the summer, and an evening out on Mainstrasse in
Covington. Newcomers are welcome to join us at any event. Contact Canon Nancy Jones for more
